Synnøve Brøndbo Plassen

Synnøve Brøndbo Plassen is a Norwegian folk musician, singer and educator who holds a master´s degree in folk music performance from the Norwegian Academy of Music. Her vocal repertoire ranges from children’s songs and psalms to ballads and instrumental music, and she has worked extensively with music from Folldal, Østerdalen and Trøndelag. She has received a number of talent scholarships and awards and has been described as one of the greatest young folk music talents. Synnøve is a versatile folk singer through her dissemination of both traditional folk music, arranged folk music, and newly composed music.
