Bjørn Kåre Odde (b. 1990) is a fiddler and violist known for his broad versatility and collaborations across different genres. Nevertheless, the folk music traditions from Norway lie closest to his heart. He has a deep love for the language of folk music, and he therefore feels free to be both bold and innovative in his own folk music. In 2021 Odde released his album “Folk Chamber”. Even though he has previously participated in more than 20 album releases, he views “Folk Chamber” as his debut album. This is, as the title suggests, chamber music, and the repertoire consists of his own tunes arranged for strings.
